Most worm gear reducers plants has plenty stock of reducer parts in the factory. In ordre to sell the reducer much faster, different manufactures always supplier the gearboxes at the same dimension, which include following details:

1. Location and dimension of mounting hole in the housing

2. Length and diameter of the output shaft

3. Output shaft height;

4. Overall reducer housing height.

Different factories always produce the same gear ratios. Only a Few manufacturers increased the output and input torque ratings for their gear reducers by improved gear designs along with the use of high performance materials and synthetic lubricants. These changes in input and output torque make it easy to change an older reducer with a new reducer from a different supplier. The increased facts make a larger service factor and longer life than the former worm gear reducers.
